For students living more than 60 miles from one of IWEG’s classroom locations, or otherwise unable to attend scheduled lectures, the Independent Wine Education Guild offers on-line study courses for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits, and the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.

Level 2 On-line students complete their final examination at one of the IWEG locations in Toronto. In some cases where the student lives in a far outlying region, or if the student is an employee of the LCBO, a local proctor may be provided to enable them to take their exam closer to home. Level 2 exams are scheduled to take place in Toronto at least 6 times per year.

Level 3 On-line students MUST travel to Toronto to take their final exam. Level 3 exams are scheduled to take place in Toronto at least 3 times per year. Students will be informed of their exam date options at the time of registration.
