The Independent Wine Education Guild (IWEG) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing excellence in wine and spirit education to professionals in the trade as well as to wine enthusiasts.
Established in 1977, IWEG offers the prized qualifications of the
Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in a number of locations in Ontario, and across Canada by home study format for distance learners.
Courses are prepared and graded by WSET in England, recognized world-wide, as the pre-eminent wine and spirit educational institute. Upon successful completion of courses, students are awarded the internationally respected professional Certificate or Diploma from WSET.
