Level II: Intermediate Certificate

The WSET Level II Intermediate Certificate is intended as vocational training in product knowledge for those employed in the hospitality industry.  This course is also appropriate for those not employed in this industry, but have a serious interest in wine and wish to broaden their knowledge in a structured way.

The Intermediate Certificate Course is comprised of 10 weekly sessions of approximately 2 1/2 hours duration each, with a multiple choice examination in the final week.  Each module is taught by a qualified professional, and students are given an opportunity to taste, analyze and compare examples of the wines being studied.  To achieve this certificate, the candidate must successfully complete the final multiple choice examination.

Each class will cover a different wine topic, taught by an experienced instructor with approximately 6 samples of wine/spirit to demonstrate the topic.  A Certificate is issued to students who successfully pass the examination.  This course is offered on a first come first serve basis.

The tuition fee for this course is $675.00 and is all-inclusive.  It includes all materials, tasting glasses, wine & spirits consumed, and the WSET issued Certificate.  Registered students also get access to the secure student area of this website where instructional videos, regional maps, exclusive wine industry links, and other materials are accessible.  Income tax receipts are issued to all students for the applicable tax year.
