Professional Certificate In Spirits
The Professional Certificate in Spirits Course is comprised of 7 weekly sessions of approximately 2 1/2 hours duration each, with a multiple choice examination in the final week. Each module is taught by a qualified professional, and students are given an opportunity to taste, analyze and compare examples of the spirits being studied. To achieve this certificate, the candidate must successfully complete the final multiple choice examination.
A Certificate is issued to students who successfully pass the examination. This course is offered on a first come first serve basis.
The tuition fee for this course is $575.00. Materials needed: pen, paper, 6 tasting glasses (all other materials provided, including spirits consumed, and the WSET issued Certificate). Income tax receipts are issued in February of the following year to all students for the applicable tax year.

Final examination will be conducted on November 15th, 2010
Monday evenings @ 7PM (first class is at 6:30PM)

Once a student is registered for a session, withdrawals are only accepted upon receipt of written notification from the registrant at the IWEG office. Refund of tuition fees, less a $50.00 administration fee is available for withdrawal 10 days or more prior to the start of the classes. The administration fee increases to $100.00 for withdrawal less than 10 days prior to the first class. No refund of tuition fees is possible once classes have commenced. Cheques returned by the bank for insufficient funds will result in a $15.00 charge.
