The Wines of Portugal Academy Intermediate Certificate will be offered by IWEG in Toronto in April 2020.

 Wines of Portugal Academy Intermediate Level  (This is the second award of the Wines of Portugal Academy Certifications) When: Friday, April 24th 2020,  9:30 am to 4:30 pm (6 hours of classroom instruction, plus certificate examination at the end of the course). Certification program from the Wines of Portugal Academy.  6 hours of training and examination at 4pm. About Wines of Portugal Academy Intermediate Level Target Audience - Intended for audiences with general knowledge of Portuguese wines (eg catering professionals, importers, journalists, consumers / wine lovers, who wish to deepen their knowledge about Portuguese wines. Learning Objectives - At the end of the course, trainees should have an extensive knowledge of Portuguese Wines. They should recognize the iconic wines of Portugal, the famous fortified wines of Portugal, the 10 main grape varieties in depth, the typical blends of Portugal and the contribution of each variety in the composition of the blend. They should also identify and know the main characteristics of the main regions (including Beira Interior and Azores), as well as obtaining in-depth knowledge on the harmonization of international gastronomy with Portuguese wines. Certificate - Upon successful completion of course and test, students will receive a certificate and title of “Wines of Portugal Certified Ambassador”. Test: 35 questions multiple choice test. Pass grade is 55% Duration - 6 hours
