Lucie Trépanier has always enjoyed traveling to discover new cultures and accidently found a deep passion for food and wine in her early years working in Hospitality. Over the years, work experiences and opportunities have taken her from one fine dining hub to the next, from Montreal to Whistler and Vancouver, to Bermuda and Ottawa. Her quest for wine knowledge began as an autodidactic endeavour, followed by more serious education through ISG (International Sommelier Guild) in Vancouver and would eventually lead to the completion of the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits in 2010. Lucie firmly believes professional training and excellence in customer service are key to success within the Canadian Hospitality Industry.

Lucie worked alongside Julie Bérubé (Level III Advanced Sommelier, The Court of Master Sommeliers) at AAA/CAA Five-Diamond Signatures Restaurant @Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute in Ottawa (2008-2010) where she learned the ropes of the Sommelier trade. She continues to be active in the Hospitality Industry, working as a free-lance Sommelier, as Wine Consultant/Sommelier for the Rideau Club and at Atelier Restaurant in Ottawa.
