My journey in the world of wines began with no special occasion, no special bottle…I just like drinking and the feeling I get in the vineyard.

This journey has taken me to Niagara College (Viticulture and Winemaking program), all kinds of wine courses including IWEG/WSET, Le Clos Jordanne, top restaurants in Toronto, and many wine regions around the world. I am currently working at the Peninsula Shanghai as Sommelier.

My future plans include drinking/tasting, study, travel and communicating as much and as hard as I can.

My favourite memory of my studies with IWEG include a short trip to Niagara during the Unit 2 Diploma studies, where a small vertical of Cos (82, 85, 86 and 98 I think) and some old vintage of high end California wines were opened.

Wine is a life-long journal, no matter how old you are when you start. I am fortunate to have learned so much from IWEG, which definitely helped to make my journey more interesting, educational and “delicious”.
