Caitlin Ferguson


Caitlin's desire to work in the wine industry dates back to her time living and working in France as an English language assistant, where she was inspired by French culture and the ties between food and wine traditions. She began by studying at Central Washington University where she completed the World Wine Program, following graduation she headed to London, UK where she worked at Vinoteca wine Bar & Shop and her passion for wine was solidified. In London she completed her WSET Diploma, and since then has travelled and worked in France and New Zealand. Now she is based back at home in Toronto where she runs her own small wine importing business Bogie's Best Imports specialising in French wine and international ciders. She has completed her Sherry Educator's course in Jerez, as well as completed a master's thesis about the 'Sherry Rennaissance' at the Open University of Catalonia.
