WSET Level 1 Award in Sake

Mondays, January 18th and 25th @ 10am - 1pm

WSET Level 1 Award in Sake via Zoom is a beginner level introduction to sake for those starting a career in the industry or beginning to explore sake for personal interest. You will learn the basic principles of sake production, the main types and styles of sake, how to serve sake and factors affecting the flavour of sake. The course is taught by WSET Certified Sake Educator and Sake Samurai, Michael Tremblay.

French Wine Scholar

Wednesdays, February 10th - April 28th @ 6:30pm - 8pm

The French Wine Scholar is an official certification course of study designed by the Wine Scholar Guild to provide current, accurate information on all of the wine regions of France and validate proficiency in the Wines of France. The course is taught by authorized Wine Scholar Guild instructors Nancy Reynolds DipWSET, Caitlin Ferguson DipWSET and Aleksandar Simic DipWSET.

WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits (online)

Monday, January 25th - Saturday, April 10th

The new WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits is an advanced-level qualification for professionals and enthusiasts wishing to acquire a detailed understanding of the spirits of the world and develop the tasting skills required to accurately describe and evaluate a spirit. You’ll acquire a deep theoretical understanding of the techniques used in spirit production, from the processing of raw materials to post-distillation operations.

NYE 2021: Big Night In

On December 31, SaveHospitalityCA, Crow’s Theatre and Front Row Center will join forces to host the ultimate national New Year’s Eve.

Big Night In is an at-home, cross-country celebration featuring an eclectic Canadian line-up of performances by Broken Social Scene, Ruby Waters, Moscow Apartment, Shantel May (and more!) that will help support two important industries.

Where: In the comfort of your own home. 
Host: Paradise Theatre in Toronto will be hosting the evening

Ticket price: $19.95 per household, plus tax. 

$5 from each ticket will go to the restaurant of your choice with an option to donate additional funds in any amount. Please ensure that at the time of check out you include the name of the restaurant under ‘additional details’ section. 

$14.95 of each ticket will cover production costs and donations to national beneficiaries for performing artists and hospitality workers.
