WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits
The WSET Level 4 Diploma qualification is considered by many in the global wine industry as the premium all round wine and spirit qualification. It is designed to give specialist knowledge of the principal wines and spirits of the world, combined with commercial factors and a thorough system for the professional evaluation of wines and spirits.

Diploma Level graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to underpin the job requirements in buying and merchandising roles such as Category Manager, Product Manager and Product Consultant, in hospitality and service roles such as Beverage Director, Wine Consultant and Hospitality Manager, and in sales and marketing roles such as a Regional Manager, District Manager and Brand Manager.

The Diploma is viewed universally as the stepping-stone to the Master of Wine program.

Why IWEG?
As the leading organization in wine, spirits and sake education in Canada, IWEG has offered the WSET Level 4 Diploma since 1988.

Our 166 Diploma Graduates over the years have gone on to become vital members of the wine and spirits industry in Canada and worldwide. IWEG holds the record for largest amount of Diploma graduates in Canada!

IWEG's Diploma pass rates are higher than the WSET global average scores, and we have a specialized team of Certified Educators, who have gone through teacher training, such as a Master of Wine, Masters of Wine candidates, Bordeaux Accredited Tutors and other experts who only teach the Diploma, nothing else.

IWEG is now accepting registration for the July 2018 WSET Level 4 Diploma. Find out more about the programme here!

Distance Learning
The WSET Level 4 Diploma Distance Learning is a two-year programme through the WSET Global Online Campus, which begins the first week of August 2018 and runs through to June 2020.

A strong online programme, with weekly assignments and student forums, which will assist in your studies and provide engaging opportunities for feedback, complements this intensive self-study qualification.

The WSET offers a feedback program whereby students are able to take mock tests based on the Diploma examinations and receive feedback on performance. This helps students understand and reach the standard required for the Diploma qualification assessment.

IWEG also compliments the course with a Key Skills Workshop Weekend in Toronto in October 2018 to provide students with the valuable experience of in class instruction.
