Pursue your passion in 2020

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is a thorough and thoughtful examination of the world of wine

"In May of 2019, I walked away from a corporate desk job to pursue my passion and explore a career in food and wine. I took the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines to expand my wine palate, as well as my knowledge of grape varietals and key wine regions around the world. One of my goals is to select wines for restaurant wine lists and collaborate with chefs on food and wine pairings, and to do that I plan on taking the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and possibly enrolling in a certified sommelier program later this year."
Melissa Bryanton

"After 10 years in the hospitality industry, I decided it was time to dive deeper into the wonderful world of wine by completing my WSET Level 2. I loved coming to class each week and tasting the different wines (turns out I don't hate Chardonnay!) and I'm excited to begin my WSET Level 3 next week! My goal is to complete my WSET Diploma and combine my passions by launching my own culinary and wine venture." - Brianna Morgan

"I have worked in the wine industry since 2011 and it’s a true passion of mine. I decided to enroll in WSET Level 2 to formalize my wine knowledge. I very much enjoyed the class, the enthusiasm of my instructor and the people I met. I look forward to Level 3 which I start next week!" - Marie-Helene Morency

French Wine Scholar highlights

The most advanced, comprehensive and up-to-date French wine course

"Exploring the unique wine traditions from Jura was a highlight from the French Wine Scholar program. In addition to the oxidized Vin Jaune , Jura also crafts the naturally sweet Vin de Paille by desiccating the grapes on straw. I enjoyed some natural wine from Jura over the holiday season; one of the most delicate yet complex Pinot Noir's I've ever had! It was intriguing to learn how Jura has the exact opposite soil composition to Cote d'Or Burgundy yet also produces amazing wines with long term aging potential." - Jade Yu Han
