The certification is designed to allow students to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the factors that affect wine style, quality and price. Online Learning

IWEG offers online WSET courses through WSET’s Online Classroom, which allows you to study alongside your peers under the guidance of a dedicated educator. A minimum number of hours of study per week is recommended (which varies depending on the course) to successfully complete each course and regular participation is essential.

Women in Wine Talks with Kate Dingwall, Forbes on November 26th 

The wine world has been notoriously slow at embracing technology, particularly e-commerce. But with drinkers stuck at home over the course of 2020, the industry has been forced to get digital. Over this talk, we’ll discuss how the digital world is changing the industry, from investing to e-commerce to virtual tastings, and speak to the downsides and upsides of technology infiltrating the wine world. Kate Dingwall is a wine and spirits writer and a WSET-trained sommelier. She’s a regular contributor at Forbes.com, and her work is regularly featured in MAXIM Magazine, Toronto Life, Liquor.com, The Spruce, Elle Canada, and Wine Enthusiast. In the past, her wine and spirits writing has been published in The Bourbon Review, Eater, Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, Foodism, VinePair, DuJour Magazine, and Culture Trip. She’s a former editor of FLARE Magazine. Outside of writing, she completed her Masters of Brand Management with a focus on the fine wine industry and has acted as a marketing consultant for a number of spirits and hospitality brands in New York City. Sign up now!
